Super big Daniela Papi fan.

A honorary PFLer (PEPY For Life)!
My favorite PEPY memories are:
Winning the ND b-plan competition: Story is best told by my buddy, Coley, who put Daniela and I up during the competition:
"Great story! So Steve calls me last week and tells me he’s coming to Notre Dame for the Entrepreneurial Studies Social Venture Plan Competition. Steve tells me his plan for the competition is PEPY (Protect Environment Protect Yourself) Tours which are paid tours to Cambodia for pleasure and volunteer activities. Anyway, I thought the idea was kind of out there and wasn’t so sure Steve and Co. would have any chance winning the competition. So Steve and Daniela Papi roll into South Bend late Tuesday evening (1:30 AM) with limited preparation and wake up at 5:30 AM Wednesday to whip up a nice presentation.
Steve and Daniela have no real solid plan on how they will present PEPY Tours when I leave the house at 7:00 and I’m thinking this could be a disaster! Anyway, Steve calls me at 6:00 last night and tells me he WON the competition (I say “you’re joking while laughing”) – grand prize of $5,000!!! Next up for PEPY Tours are final presentations to ND Alums on Friday for additional funding and to further enhance the business plan.
Check out the sites below – UNBELIVEABLE!!! You are one of a kind Stevo!!! http://www.nd.edu/~entrep/SocialVenturePlanFinalistSelected.html http://www.pepyride.org/pepy_tours.html"

The PEPYND late evening "Old-Guy Allan" chats with the absolutely amazing young future social entrepreneurs from Notre Dame. These "kids" (I was 10 years older than some of them) slowly warmed up to the patriarch of the trip until I found myself hosting nightly chats on life. I have never felt so old nor impressed by these ND leaders. I look forward to following their lives as they move forward.
Since my time with PEPY, I have been:
Not available enough to the amazing interns who have helped mold the culture and success of PEPY . . .
Impressed by the incredible things that PEPY has accomplished . . .
Excited by the future potential of PEPY to change the world . . .
My plans for the future include:
Graduating from B-school
Finding a way to pay off these huge debts
Providing as much help as possible to PEPY
Continuing to provide positive impact on the world
I am inspired by:
the power of individuals to change the world . . .
Daniela's infectious spirit and smile . . .
the social movement that will define this generation.
Steve, I'm great. I just started working for a company called Aerovironment (avinc.com) in Simi Valley, CA. I'm in product engineering working on the small unmanned aerial vehicles (planes) that are used for surveillance and such- It's been great so far and I am excited to keep learning. How have you been? I heard you got mmmmmarried, Congratulations!
