About myself:
Kahori OCHI is someone who is trying to fellow her mother’s footsteps in becoming a kimono-shop owner as the second-generation proprietor. She makes an effort to make the kimono more accessible to everyone with an interest in the traditional dress, by hosting events and getting to know more people, including many non-Japanese. I showed my family the picture of me in the kimono. They said, "You're so cute. Why don't you wear a kimono all the time?"

I was interested to look at your home page, and would like to visit your shop one day. I bought a men's kimono when I was learning tea ceremony twenty years ago but I have seldom worn it, which is a pity although very difficult to put on; it cost me 70,000 yen in 1989. Did you take some kimono with you to Cambodia? I guess the weather would be very hot for kimono, although you can wear kimono in Japan in the summer.
