My experience with PEPY involved:

gearing up for the first ever PEPY ride across Cambodia, creating a mural design contest, choosing a winner and helping to get the image up on the PEPY school wall, attending the school opening ceremony, meeting my buddy, embarking on the inaugural PEPY ride, biking , biking, noodles noodles, seeing a land mine get deactivated by MAG (up close!) more biking, more noodles, Khmer cooking course, meeting sweet children, many of them orphans and watching their life stories enacted on stage, visiting a hell-hole dump that some folk are forced to call home, lots of emotions, lots more biking....
oh - and a Crazy Canuck, a Kick-ass Kiwi, a Fabulous Finn and 2 Awesome Americans
and loads of other cool stuff.

Since my time with PEPY, I have been:

I returned to my loving husband, wrote a thesis on the rise of volunteerism in Japan (inspired by my PEPY experiences), graduated my MA in Japanese Language and Society, started teaching writing courses at Aichi University, launched my Yoga teaching career, and HAD A BABY!

My plans for the future include:

more babies!

I am inspired by:
