Hey Caroline

Thanks so much for your sweet message. I really appreciate it!

What have you been up to since you left Cambodia? Are you back home now?

Do you think you'll head back out to Cambodia again in the future?

Take care, and have a great Christmas and New Year,

Aileen x

Where are all the people from our trip?

Thanks again to you and the rest of the PEPY crew for your hospitality, bread, fun and maps.

And I have to say, the dark chocolate peanut M&Ms have made the transition home a little easier.

How's the purse holding up?

Profile Information

About myself:
North Carolina native (Go Heels!), came to Cambodia and PEPY by way of the JET Programme.
My experience with PEPY involved:
August '06 volunteer trip. We worked with RDIC to build a rain water tank at an elementary school, and spent some time with the kids of CCF. I served as the Tour Coordinator in the PEPY office during the spring of 08. I joined the March Ride and Golden Week trips during that time.
My favorite PEPY memories are:
The PEOPLE! Having my hair done by the girls at CCF2. The celebratory beer at the end of our building project. Climbing all over the ruins of temples in the middle of the jungle! Watching Lucky ride circles around us. Riding through the small Muslim communities in the Cambodian countryside. Every day in the PEPY office and every night spent hanging out with any of the PEPY Staff. They're all amazing people.
Since my time with PEPY, I have been:
Came back to North Carolina and helped get Obama in the White House! Watched my beloved Tar Heels bring home the 2009 basketball National Championship!! And started grad school to get my Masters in Public Administration, specializing in non-profit management.
My plans for the future include:
For the next couple years I'll be in NC finishing my degree and figuring our what the future holds for me. What I do know is that I will continue to be involved with PEPY in whatever way that I can!
I am inspired by:
My parents, I could not have two more loving, generous, and supportive people in my life. My sister, she has blazed the trail before me and gives me an endless amount of love, encouragement, and advice.

People who don't just think big, but make it all happen.
